It was an emotional reunion in Bridgeport for the Brotnyiks, who were reunited Monday with a mentally retarded relative who had been missing for four days.
Ashley Brotnyik says she was determined to find her aunt Diana who suffers from severe mental retardation. The woman ran away from home last Thursday but turned up unharmed at home.
Emotions were high at the scene of the reunion, so much so that the missing woman?s mother was too emotional to speak. Meanwhile, aunt Diana made it known that she was hungry for McDonald?s.
The family?s spirits were lifted even more when Diana promised never to run away again.
