Presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was in southwestern Connecticut today making stops at fundraisers in New Canaan and Greenwich.
JetBlue founder and former CEO David Neeleman hosted an event for Romney at his New Canaan home earlier today.
Romney supporter and fundraiser attendee Roy Abramowitz, of New Canaan, says the former governor is the best candidate to boost the economy and is pulling for his candidate.
?All the opposition has is to say well he's wealthy and he doesn't understand the American people,? Abramowitz says. ?That is totally wrong. If that's all they got they're in trouble.?
State Sen. Scott Frantz (R- Greenwich) also hosted a fundraiser for Romney at his home in Riverside. The event is expected to raise $1 million.
