A wake was held Friday evening for a teen shot and killed over the weekend.

Police say 19-year-old Flanegaine Joseph was shot in his neighborhood around 9 p.m. Saturday night. Friends say after hearing the gunshot they ran outside and started to carry Joseph to Stamford Hospital where he was pronounced dead 30 minutes later.

Police say they are still investigating the crime and that gang tensions may be to blame. They say they are exploring leads and have increased street patrols.
