One person was injured in a shooting on the platform at the New Haven Train Station Wednesday, according to MTA officials.

Officials say the shooters fled the scene.

Service on the Metro-North New Haven Line was delayed due to police presence. Regular service has since resumed.

The extent of the victim's injuries is not known.
