552ds agoAn EF-0 tornado touched down in Litchfield County Wednesday during severe storms.
The National Weather Service says it touched down in Bulls Bridge to southern Kent, and occurred around 2:50 p.m.
Winds reached 85 mph. The weather service says the tornado traveled about a mile and was about 30 yards wide.
No injuries or major damage was reported.
As News 12 has reported, severe storms swept through the area, triggering a brief tornado warning.
