The National Weather Service has issued a freeze warning for parts of southwestern Connecticut overnight.
Springdale Florist and Greenhouses owner Mickey Doyle says potted plants should be moved inside temporarily.
Doyle added that the best time to start planting outside is a couple weeks into May.
