A Greenwich woman is using her talents as a singer-songwriter to promote positivity.
Laura Budzelek tells News 12 her new song, "Get Up Now and Move" is an ode to anyone who has faced or is facing setbacks in life.
"I want all of my listeners to know they should never give up hope and to always follow their goals," says Budzelek.
She recently filmed a music video for the single in London.
Budzelek wrote the song for her father who is unable to walk or move on his left side due a stroke and is confined to a bed.
She hopes her melody and lyrics will motivate him to perform his physical therapy.
"I decided to take a very difficult situation and turn into something positive to encourage my dad," she says.
