Fairfield police have named their new K-9 bloodhound Penny after asking the public for help in choosing a name.
Penny will be partnered with Officer Renaldi and trained to assist in tracking missing or lost persons.
The department says when she's older, she'll attend a seven-week academy before becoming fully certified and ready to pick up the scent.
