Gov. Ned Lamont is promoting a new program called Covered Connecticut.
Up to 40,000 people now qualify for free coverage on the state's Obamacare exchange, but there are income limits.
The money comes partly out of COVID-19 relief dollars from Washington, D.C.
You can sign up for Covered Connecticut until October.
