After two weeks of jury selection, nine jurors have been chosen for the upcoming murder trial of Jose Morales, accused of killing his girlfriend, Christine Holloway in 2019.

Morales and Holloway shared a 1-year-old daughter, Vanessa Morales, who vanished when Holloway died and remains missing.

The court aims to select 16 people, including 12 jurors and four alternates.

The trial is scheduled to begin April 7.
