Family members and friends said their final goodbyes Sunday to a Norwalk teen whose courageous battle with cancer struck a cord in the community?s heart.
Chelsea Cohen, 17, died Wednesday after fighting central nervous system sarcoma for more than two years. The former soccer star and high school graduate was almost completely paralyzed at the time of her death.
Hundreds gathered at Brien McMahon High School to honor her life and legacy. Many of Cohen?s friends dressed in blue, which was her favorite color. Larry Cohen hopes to create a scholarship at Norwalk High School in his daughter?s name.
