308ds agoNorwalk Mayor Harry Rilling joined other local dignitaries at Mathews Park Tuesday to dedicate a brand-new rainbow crosswalk.
The LGBTQIA community said it was an important day for the city, and Rilling agreed.
"It shows Norwalk's diversity, it shows Norwalk's strength, and it shows who we are as a city. And we couldn't be any more proud of that," he said.
Mathews Park has hosted Pride in the Park over the last few years.
