Chairman Arthur Scialabba announced he would not seek a third term Saturday at a Norwalk Republican Town committee meeting.
Scialabba took over the post four years ago at a time when there were no Republicans in elected office in Norwalk. In November, Republicans won the mayor?s seat and five common council seats. Scialabba says he feels he has accomplished his goals and says it?s time for someone else to take over.
Scialabba says the committee will pick his successor before the end of the month.
