With Fourth of July weekend only a day away, doctors say practicing safe fun can help prevent common summer injuries.
Norwalk Hospital ER doctor Dr. Florian Seeberger says young children are the most at risk during this time of year. He says the fireworks you buy in the store can cause eye, face, hand, and finger injuries just like the illegal ones.
Dr. Seeberger says grilling can cause these common injuries as well. He says in order to ensure your safety, make sure to grill away from the house and to ignite fireworks far from the grill.
