Norwalk High School is raising money for its athletic department with a celebrity dinner.

Basketball Hall of Famer and Bears alum Calvin Murphy will be the keynote speaker Saturday night when the community honors the 1966 boys basketball state championship team.

“I think it’s important to not forget the history of not just great athletes, but they’re also great people that led these teams and that coached these teams," Scotty Nails said.

The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the American Legion Post 12.
