A man seen being tased by ICE agents in Norwalk has been deported to Mexico.

The daughter of 42-year-old Leonel Chavez says he was returned to his homeland over the weekend.

Chavez was arrested last week in a video that quickly went viral.

His daughter, 21-year-old Leonela Chavez, says the family received no help from officials in tracking his whereabouts.

Federal immigration authorities say 29 of those arrested had criminal records in the U.S., while others had criminal histories or gang ties in their home countries.
