Police say a vehicle was merging onto the roadway at Exit 52 when it collided with the vehicle Daniel Demichael was driving, sending it into a guardrail.
Authorities say DeMichael was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.
A 5-year-old passenger in his car and the driver of the other car sustained minor injuries.
No charges have been filed at this time.
