Norwalk police were on the hunt for unbuckled drivers Monday as part of the national "Click It or Ticket" campaign.
Officers stationed on Westport Avenue handed out dozens of tickets for seat belt violations during the crackdown. Norwalk Police Department Sgt. Chuck Fallo says the effort was more far-reaching than that.
"It's not just here we're doing it - it's throughout the city," he says. "The whole department is being instructed to try to do their best."
Ticketed drivers face fines of up to $37.
