Norwalk police are mourning the loss of one of their retired K-9 officers.

Kimbo, a 13-year-old German Shepard, passed away Saturday. He served in the department from February 2012 until August 2020.

He was a dual purpose patrol dog who was partnered with Sgt. Garret Kruger.
