Norwalk police renew call for info leading to arrest in cold case; $50,000 reward offered
Norwalk police are once again seeking information that could lead to an arrest in a 2011 cold case as the anniversary of the killings approaches.
Police say Rickita Smalls, 22, and Iroquois Alston, 27 were shot and killed on Aug. 6 while sitting in a parked car on Avenue B.
There are no updates in the case, but police are hoping new information may surface with the increased reach of technology and a reward of $50,000 by the state of Connecticut.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Cold Case Unit of the Norwalk Police Department at 203-854-3028 of 203-854-3011.
Information can also be provided by calling the Norwalk Police Tip Line at 203-854-3111 or by sending a tip to the Norwalk Police Department website. Anonymous text tips can also be submitted by typing "NORWALKPD" into the text field, followed by the message, and sending it to tip411(847411).
