Hundreds attend a commemorative ceremony to remember two Medal of Honor recipients and all of Norwalk?s veterans who died defending the United States.Private First Class John D. Magrath who died in World War II, and Private First Class Daniel J. Shea who died in Vietnam, were remembered along with the more than 150 Norwalk veterans at Norwalk City Hall today. Norwalk mayor Dick Moccia says the Veteran?s Day ceremony was an opportunity to remember the men and women currently fighting overseas.Norwalk is one of four other towns or cities in the entire country to have two recipients of the Medal of Honor. Several parades will take place Sunday to remember the veterans throughout southwestern Connecticut, including one in Milford and one in Stamford.
