Residents say a former nursing home on Strawberry Hill Avenue is in need of nursing of its own. They?ve contacted the building?s developers to press them to maintain grounds that are becoming an eyesore.
The building has been vacant for about four years. Neighbors complain that the grass isn?t mowed, the hedges aren?t clipped and the garbage isn?t being picked up.
Until plans for redevelopment of the site are finalized, State Senator Bob Duff says a letter he sent to the developer requested they perform routine maintenance on the site.
