People in Norwalk got to hear a live comedy show in a COVID-friendly environment on Saturday.
The socially distanced comedy show took place at B.J. Ryan’s with a capacity of 25 people at each of the two performances.
Comedians Troy Bond and Joey Rinaldi co-headlined the event. They tell News 12 that laughing and comedy is more important than ever.
“You can’t control laughter,” Bond says. “It’s an involuntary reaction, something and it’s the best reaction you can have to something. Music connects with people at all ages, but comedy connect with people in a very unique, subjective way.”
Throughout the pandemic, Bond and Rinaldi have been performing outside and on Zoom.
This was the two’s first indoor shot of the year.
