? The city of Norwalk is pushing for federal funding to upgrade its transportation system.
Officials want nearly $8 million dollars to make changes to the South Norwalk Train station. The city is also seeking $2 million to upgrade the bus depot at Burnell Boulevard. Lawmakers say another $3 million is needed to widen parts of Route 1.
The wish list is part of $30 million in transportation projects that Norwalk Mayor Richard Moccia says is needed.
