A Norwalk woman has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for helping run a narcotics trafficking operation that moved fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine through southwestern Connecticut, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Prosecutors say Kimberly Delacruz, 31, who is also known as “K,” assisted her partner, Jose Orjuela, in storing, packaging, and distributing drugs from homes in Norwalk and Darien.

Investigators seized thousands of fentanyl dose bags, heroin, cocaine, and crack during coordinated raids in April 2024. Delacruz pleaded guilty last year to a federal conspiracy charge and must report to prison on July 15. Orjuela was sentenced earlier this month to more than 15 years in prison.
