Stew Leonard's in Norwalk is kicking off a major renovation at its flagship location, which includes plans to make the store more energy efficient.
The plan includes a redesigned grand entrance, and a remodeled greenhouse area.
There will also be upgrades to display cases to help make the store become more energy efficient.
Store manager Nicole Weiss says the plan to update the store's refrigeration system will allow them to showcase more products and look and feel like other Stew Leonard's locations.
"We are super excited; we want to look like our other stores, we want the great refrigeration, the new cases that will allow us to showcase our products for customers. We want our team members to be so happy to be working here and we know that they're just as excited as us," Weiss says.
Construction will begin next month and is slated to be complete by spring of 2023.
