Gov. Dannel Malloy (D-C.T.) held a ceremonial signing today for the new state law allowing Sunday alcohol sales. The policy will go into effect this weekend, but some store owners say they will not follow suit. Gary Perillo, co-owner of Lordship Wine and Liquor in Stratford, says he is not prepared to alter his schedule to bring in extra revenue. "It's hard because we're always counting on the Sunday off for family time, for other commitments," says Perillo. Perillo says he will be selective in choosing what weekends he'll open the store.
