The number of power outages in Wilton due to Wednesday?s storm has dropped significantly.
At the height of the outages, nearly 80 percent of the town did not have power. According to the Wilton Fire Department chief, about 7 percent of customers remain in the dark.
The town?s emergency operations center remains open in a partial stage.
