yesterdayThe NYPD reports a man was robbed in Brooklyn while delivering food on Lefferts Avenue Saturday night.
Police say a 36-year-old man was delivering food inside of 501 Lefferts Ave. when he was approached by two unidentified individuals.
According to officers, the suspects displayed firearms and punched the victim in the face before forcibly removing food, a cellphone, and $5 from the victim.
The victim chased the individuals and the suspects then fired a gunshot at the victim.
The 36-year-old victim was not struck by gunfire, police say.
The individuals fled on foot.
