Police in Manhattan are searching for a man they say struck a 2-year-old boy with his moped, and then drove off.

Officers say the toddler was crossing with his father at the intersection of Suffolk and East Houston streets when the child was hit around 7:30 p.m. He was treated for cuts on his body.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to contact police.
