Police say two people were injured in separate shootings in Bridgeport on New Year's Day.
The first shooting took place in the North End at the 1400 block of Reservoir Avenue shortly after 12:30 p.m.
Officials say one man was shot and taken by a private vehicle to St. Vincent's Medical Center. He's being treated for serious injuries.
Police say they're still searching for a suspect, and that the motive isn't clear yet.
Separately, about two hours later, a man was grazed by a bullet on Fairfield Avenue near Andover Street in Black Rock.
Officials say the victim went to the hospital in a private car and did not require medical attention.
No arrests have been made in that case.
