Seven people have been displaced following a fire in Torrington on Saturday night, officials say.
Fire officials say they received a report of a house fire on Wall Street around 8:30 p.m.
Firefighters found heavy smoke and visble flames on the second and third floors.
Officials declared the fire a third alarm and brought in mutual aid from Litchfield, Hawinton, Bantam along with two other departments from within the city.
Authorities say the fire was difficult to extinguished because of construction designs and had to change operations from interior to exterior.
The Red Cross is assisting those displaced.
No one was injured, but two firefighters were evaluated on scene for minor injuries.
One firefighter was transported to Charlotte Hungerford for evaluation.
The Torrington Fire Marshal and the State Fire Marshal are investigating,
