A Greenwich family says its pet dog, a Jack Russell terrier, is recovering after it was attacked by two coyotes.
The attack happened about two weeks ago outside the Samuels? family home at 120 Old Church Road.
Greenwich Animal Control Officer Suzanne Carlin says the coyote attack is an ?isolated situation,? though she did caution homeowners to supervise their pets and contain food and recyclables.
The Jack Russell terrier sustained a few punctures from the attack and is scheduled to see a veterinarian Tuesday.
The family declined to comment further on the incident. Family members did express being overwhelmed by all the publicity the attack has received.
