Officials: Norwalk officer arrested for outstanding stalking, harassment warrant

Bridgeport police took Officer Hector Delgado into custody that they say is related to a "family violence incident."

Police say a Norwalk police officer was arrested on Friday due to an outstanding warrant for charges of stalking and harassment.
Bridgeport police took Officer Hector Delgado into custody, which they say is related to a "family violence incident."
Norwalk police said Officer Delgado was placed on administrative leave, had his duty firearm seized and his police powers suspended.
Officials said an Internal Affairs investigation will be initiated by the Norwalk Police.
Police did not release any other details on this case.
