Officials: Norwalk Public Schools receives $15 million grant

Officials say the money will be used to enhance the educational experiences at Ponus Ridge STEAM Academy, Kendall College and Career Academy and P-TECH Norwalk.

State and local officials gathered at P-TECH Norwalk high school Friday to celebrate a $15 million grant.
The award comes from the U.S. Department of Education Magnet Schools Assistance Program.
Officials say the money will be used to enhance the educational experiences at Ponus Ridge STEAM Academy, Kendall College and Career Academy and P-TECH Norwalk.
Officials say this is the biggest magnet school grant ever awarded to any school system in Connecticut.
