Norwalk school officials say 22 students who were caught drinking at a middle school are facing severe disciplinary action.
The Ponus Ridge Middle School students, some as young as 11 years old, are accused of bringing liquor to the school concealed in water and Gatorade bottles.
Principal Linda Sumpter says a parent told school leaders last week that something seemed awry.
"Kids were offered, and they accepted the offer, to share a drink," she says. "Most of it happened on the bus, some of it happened in school - in the lunchroom."
