Gov. Ned Lamont joined company officials Tuesday for the grand opening of the largest Amazon facility in New England.
The new Amazon Robotics Fulfillment Center is in Windsor.
Standing five-stories tall, the building is equipped with over 40 robotic arms and thousands of smaller robots to help employees.
Amazon officials gave a tour for first looks at the center Tuesday.
So far, the center has employed 2,000 people. The manager says they plan to hire another 1,500 people in the next three months.
