Motorcyclist killed in Newtown crash

A car crash left one person with serious injuries on Route 8 in Shelton.

It happened Sunday night near Exit 13.

Police say the car went about 300 feet down an embankment.

It took 20 minutes to get the driver out of the car.

There is no word on the person's condition.
