A resident has been displaced and several birds died Sunday in a Norwalk house fire, officials say.
The fire spread from the kitchen of the Lockwood Lane home to the entire first floor around 3 p.m. It eventually also spread to the second floor.
No people were hurt in the fire.
The Red Cross is assisting the person who lived in the home.
