Fairfield police say a building at Sacred Heart University was evacuated last night after a small chemical spill in a science lab.
Fire officials say the spill was contained to the classroom and that there were no exposures or injuries to students or staff.
Authorities say a hazmat team and the state's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection were on hand to assist.
