Connecticut officials said a Stamford man has pleaded guilty to the production of child pornography.
State officials said 57-year-old Servio Barros-Terreros, of Stamford, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to a child exploitation offense.
Court documents stated that a minor female reported that she was sexually assaulted by Barros-Terreros when she was nine and 10 years old.
The minor also said Barros-Terreros took sexually explicit pictures of her and threatened to publish the pictures and show them to the victim's mother if the victim told anyone.
Records stated that Barros-Terreros also instructed the victim to undress during video calls he initiated with the victim, during which he also engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Stamford police arrested Barros-Terreros on state sexual assault and risk of injury offenses and seized Barros-Terreros' iPhone in January 2023.
Barros-Terreros is scheduled to be sentenced in Hartford in June.
