The Heirloom Market Comstock Ferre in Old Wethersfield is a bustling café, market and store stocking over 1,000 varieties of flower and vegetable seeds.
Since 1811, Comstock Ferre has been home to New England's oldest seed company. Since the market's opening in 2016, it's also known as a special gathering for the community rooted in rich history.
The market sells over 1,100 varieties of heirloom seeds to look through and pick from. Along with the market and store, the café is available for breakfast and lunches. They also serve dinner three nights a week featuring soup, salads and sandwiches.
