One person?s trash becomes another?s treasure in Bridgeport auctions
The city of Bridgeport will hold a unique event in which luxury leftovers that once belonged to an evicted mansion?s owner will be auctioned.
Five luxury cars were seized in the eviction. City officials say they have a legal obligation to rid the contents of an evicted house after a period of time. Mayor John Fabrizi says this is a first for the city of Bridgeport.
The luxury cars include late Roles Royce and Mercedes models. The car auction will take place on Saturday at the West Side Precinct. There will also be a small property auction at Bridgeport City Hall Saturday.
