Orchard Beach-goers starving with no food court
Beachgoers heading out this summer will be surprised to learn the food court at Orchard Beach is closed.
It disappointed several beach bums recently who didn't know that they should've come prepared with drinks and food for a day at the beach.
One person said the food court was supposed to open Memorial Day. For now, sun lovers will have to pack food - an alternative they say is cheaper, but inconvenient.
The parks department says it will open the concession stand based on how many people are at the beach on a given day.
