Over 31,000 children’s sound compression earmuffs recalled for burn and injury hazards

Over 31,000 units of HearMuffs, a brand of sound compression earmuffs for children, are being recalled for a dangerous potential defect.
Officials say the AAA batteries included in the product can rupture, posing hearing, projectile and burn injuries.
There have been 19 reports of rupturing. However, no children have been harmed.
The product is sold at Sam’s Club and Krogers across the county.
