The owner of Lewis the cat is back in court Tuesday as a judge determines whether or not the case should go to trial. The cat?s owner and her attorney are scheduled to meet privately with the judge in his chambers at the Golden Hill Courthouse in Bridgeport. Lewis the cat was placed under house arrest after he allegedly attacked an Avon lady and two neighbors in his Fairfield neighborhood. One of the alleged victims now wants to see the cat put down. Lewis?s confinement gained media attention around the world. He became a celebrity after a Fairfield University student posted his profile on MySpace.com. Lewis the cat fans showed up at the courthouse to lend their support.
