Paddington Bear greeted students at Staples Elementary to help kick off a fundraising campaign to benefit the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness.

Paddington made an appearence at the school in Easton on Monday.

Part of the groups efforts includes providing stuffed Paddington bears and books to children in shelters during the holiday season.

Students raised more than $3,300 for the campaign in 2018.
