The 18th Annual WSC Run for the Wild will take place on Saturday, April 25.

The mascot of this year's run is the endangered red panda.

The Wild Asia Monorail also opens on Saturday, allowing visitors a front row seat to multitudes of animals throughout the Asian wilderness exhibits at the zoo.

Guests can check out the red pandas, rhinoceroses, tigers, deer and wild horses while leisurely traversing the zoo.

The best part? It's also educational! Tour guides shepherd the monorail through the zoo and help with animal identification, fun facts, and entertainment.

The WSC Run for the Wild is a fundraiser with a goal of raising $700,000 for the Wildlife Conservation Society. So far, they have raised over $620,000.
