Panera Bread has added an alert on their app to ensure customers are aware of the caffeine content in the restaurant's Charged Sips drinks.
The warning states that the drinks contain between 150 and 237 milligrams of caffeine depending on the size.
It also states that the drinks are not recommended for children, pregnant or nursing women or those sensitive to caffeine.
This follows accusations that the restaurant’s caffeinated lemonade
beverage may have led to two deaths. One case involved Sarah Katz, a Jersey City woman who had a heart condition.
