Some Norwalk parents kept their children home from Brien McMahon High School Tuesday after a death threat appeared last week on a restroom wall.
According to parents, the message said "BMHS Massacre 12/12/17" and "May the Devil be with you."
Police have said they've launched an investigation into the graffiti and stepped up their presence at the school.
"We would never second guess our responsibility of ensuring that the community, the children and the staff there are safe; that's always our primary concern," says Sgt. Sophia Gulino.
The threat comes days before the fifth anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre.
